RICHTER’S STREET FOOD MARKET
The self-service bistro at the entrance to the vineyard offers quick bites in a unique setting. It’s the perfect stop for anyone looking to grab a quick bite while enjoying a spectacular panoramic view of Prague.

PERGOLA
Sitting under the vine-covered pergola offers a unique experience right where grapes for our distinctive wine have been grown for 1,000 years. The views of historic Prague, the tranquility of the vineyard, and a glass of wine from the local vineyard make for an unforgettable experience.

RESTAURANT
Villa Richter Restaurant, located in the Piano Nobile tropical greenhouse, offers a tasting menu with carefully curated wine pairings featuring wines not only from our Svatováclavská vineyard.
Starting April 26, 2026, Villa Richter Restaurant will be closed for the summer and will reopen in October. During this period, the space is reserved for special occasions such as private celebrations, weddings, or corporate parties and events.

ST. WENCESLAS VINEYARD
The St. Wenceslas Vineyard is one of the oldest vineyards in the Czech Republic. Its history dates back more than 1,100 years and is inextricably linked to the name of Saint Wenceslas, the country’s patron saint, who, according to legend, personally planted the vines and harvested the grapes here.
The vineyard is also exceptional for its terroir and atmosphere. The southern slope below Prague Castle offers some of the most beautiful views of Prague’s historic center.
FESTIVALS
Throughout the year, Villa Richter also hosts numerous festival events.
These include the Festival of Rosé Wines and Sparkling Wines, the Bubble Wine Fest, the Prosecco Fest, and the traditional Villa Richter Wine Festival. The end of the year is traditionally marked by the magical Advent atmosphere at the vineyard.
THE BEST WINES
Every year, our wines rank among the best in the Czech Republic. We grow two noble grape varieties: Riesling and Pinot Noir.
Both have their place in the vineyard and benefit from the unique conditions of the southern slope below Prague Castle.
We cultivate the vines using traditional methods, with an emphasis on manual labor and a gentle approach to the entire production process. Due to limited quantities, the wines are available exclusively at Villa Richter.
WINE TRESOR
More than 700 varieties of rare wines are stored in a unique cellar carved into the rock on which Prague Castle stands.
The collection consists of wines selected by the creators of the documentary series Putování za vínem (produced by Czech Television), who discovered the quality and stories behind these wines at their places of origin while filming the series in vineyards around the world.
In addition to world-renowned wines, the cellar also houses a wide range of excellent wines from lesser-known wine regions.
