Floor Plan

Piano nobile

On the upper floor, you’ll find an elegant space perfect for stylish events. The highlight is a glass conservatory with tropical greenery and a terrace, creating a unique atmosphere for business meetings or social evenings. There are also four private lounges available. The conservatory with terrace can accommodate up to 40 guests, while the entire Piano Nobile, including the lounges, can host events for up to 70 guests with seated arrangements.

On the ground floor of the villa, you are welcomed by a spacious south-facing terrace with breathtaking views. Thanks to its roofing and heating, this area can host large-scale outdoor events for up to 120 guests, even in cooler months. The wooden flooring, fabric ceiling panels, and crystal chandelier give the space an elegant and distinguished character.

Wine Tresor

Our wine cellar, carved directly into the rock beneath Prague Castle, houses world-class wines at perfect maturity. It also features individual vintages from our own vineyard, the oldest in the Czech Republic. Limited editions from this legendary vineyard rank among the finest wines you can taste in the country.

VINEYARD

At the highest point of the St. Wenceslas Vineyard, you’ll find a viewpoint offering one of the most stunning views of Prague, surrounded by historic grapevines that have grown here for centuries. This enchanting spot is perfect for kicking off an event, enjoying welcome drinks, or hosting an afternoon cocktail session. It is also a highly sought-after location for weddings.

What types of events can be held at Villa Richter?

Villa Richter hosts corporate parties, gala dinners, conferences and seminars, product launches, team-building events with wine tastings, and private birthday and anniversary celebrations. We tailor every event to your needs, including catering, wine, and the program.

What spaces and capacities do you offer?

Villa Richter offers spaces on two connected floors, which you can rent separately, in combination, or as the entire villa exclusively. The upper floor, Piano Nobile, with its glasshouse, terrace and three private salons, seats up to 70 guests. The ground floor, Piano Terra, with its columned hall and a heated tent on the south terrace, seats up to 110 guests and is available all year round. For larger events and festivals, the entire estate can be used by arrangement for up to 2,000 guests. Send us your date, approximate guest count and type of event, and we’ll prepare a tailored offer. How does renting the venue work, and how do I get a quote?

Every rental includes a personal consultation, a venue viewing, menu planning and a complete inventory of furniture and tableware. We always adapt the layout and capacity to the type of your event. Send us your date, approximate guest count and type of event, and we’ll prepare a tailored offer. Can we rent the entire estate exclusively?

Yes. You can rent Villa Richter exclusively for your event, including the terraces and St. Wenceslas Vineyard. The vineyard is only open to the public during festivals, so with an exclusive rental it’s entirely yours – panoramic view over Prague included.

When can an event be held, and how late can it run?

We host events at Villa Richter all year round, on any day of the week. An event can run from 9:00 AM to midnight, with the option to extend until 2:00 AM for an additional fee. Due to our location within the Prague Castle heritage protection zone, outdoor music isn’t allowed after 10:00 PM – the party with music simply continues inside the villa. We approach every event individually and prepare a tailored offer. Do you provide catering and drinks?

Yes. Catering for events at Villa Richter is prepared by chef Jaroslav Bartůněk’s team, just as at Villa Richter Restaurant. We can arrange a buffet, finger food, a plated menu, or a tasting dinner. The drinks package can include wines from St. Wenceslas Vineyard, said by legend to be the oldest vineyard in Bohemia.

Can we add a wine tasting or additional program to our event?

Yes. With prior arrangement, you can add a guided tasting of wines from St. Wenceslas Vineyard, a guided walk through the vineyard covering its history, or live music to your corporate event at Villa Richter. What technical equipment is available?

We can arrange technical equipment for your event at Villa Richter (sound, projection, lighting) in advance, depending on the type of event. Bringing your own production is also possible – equipment should be brought in through the upper entrance on Na Opyši street. How will event guests get to you, and where will they park?

Villa Richter has no parking lot, and parking isn’t allowed on Na Opyši street. Only pre-arranged transport – such as a company bus or a car for VIP guests – may drive up to the upper entrance on Na Opyši street to drop guests off. From there, it’s a few minutes’ walk downhill to the villa. Access is only possible after you send us the license plate number, at least 2 days before the event. For larger events, we recommend arranging shared transport for your guests. Taxis can drop guests off at the bottom, by Staré zámecké schody. Guests travelling by public transport should get off at the Malostranská stop (metro line A, trams 12, 15, 20, 22 and 23); from there, the route leads up Staré zámecké schody to the lower entrance of the estate, which is open on the day of the event.

How do deliveries and setup work?

Deliveries, decorations, and equipment for events at Villa Richter are brought in through the upper entrance on Na Opyši street. Vehicles may stop there to unload, but not park. We’ll arrange delivery and setup times with you in advance.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The Villa Richter estate isn’t wheelchair accessible – the villa stands on the vineyard’s slope, and the lower entrance from Malostranská is reached by stairs. That said, we’re happy to help guests with reduced mobility: a pre-arranged car can bring them to the upper entrance on Na Opyši street (send us the license plate at least 2 days before the event), and our golf cart will take them from there to the villa. We handle every request individually.

How much does it cost to rent the venue for an event?

The price of an event at Villa Richter always depends on the number of guests, the day of the week, the season, and the scope of services, so we calculate every event individually. Send us your date and an approximate guest count, and we’ll get back to you with our brochure, including pricing for the venue rental, menu, and additional services.
