When the first Advent lights come on over Prague, the St. Wenceslas Vineyard below Prague Castle also comes to life. Throughout Advent, you’re welcome to join us for mulled wine, fragrant Advent treats and music. All this is accompanied by a view of Prague that no other place in the city can boast.
Invite your loved ones for a stroll through the vineyard, warm up with a hot drink and let yourself be swept away by the atmosphere that fills the vineyard from the moment the lights are switched on until the very last night of the year.

Where: St. Wenceslas Vineyard, Villa Richter, Staré zámecké schody 6, Prague 1 – enter via the upper entrance from Na Opyši Street
On event days, a heated party marquee on the upper viewpoint right in the vineyard, a drinks bar and recorded music with Christmas carols await you – a DJ will provide the atmosphere on New Year’s Eve.
On weekdays, Richter’s Street Food Market by the vineyard entrance is open – a self-service bistro with quick refreshments and a panoramic view of Prague, daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
What’s on offer: mulled wine, punch, hot Aperol, cocktails, prosecco and Villa Richter wine from our own vineyard. Christmas cookies are available to buy.
How to get here: The nearest stop is Malostranská (metro line A, trams 12, 15, 20, 22 and 23); from there, continue up the Old Castle Stairs to the upper entrance on Na Opyši Street, opposite the Black Tower, leading straight to the vineyard.

Is the vineyard open on weekdays?

On weekdays, Richter’s Street Food Market by the vineyard entrance is open – a self-service bistro with quick refreshments and a panoramic view of Prague, daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
